Printed sensors are primarily used in medical applications. In many common mass products, such as blood sugar measuring strips and other diagnostic tools, printing and partial coating has become a widely used technology.

According to data published by the research institute IDTechEx in its market study “Printed and Flexible Sensors 2014-2024”, the market for printed and flexible sensors will be worth            US $7 billion by 2020.  

Under the terms of a product development agreement, Printcolor can offer exclusive cooperations with manufacturers or potential manufacturers of sensor products, even for niche applications. We work on the basis of the results of a KTI-supported two-year research project which we conducted with leading Swiss universities and institutes in nano and bio sciences.
