signaCRYPTs are invisible markers. When excited by a corresponding detector instrument, they emit detectable wavelengths by converting the energy content of incoming electromagnetic radiation.

signaCRYPTs emit detectable electromagnetic waves when they are irradiated with corresponding excitation sources. Suitable detectors detect signaCRYPTs and return a light, sound or vibration signal.

signaCRYPTs are detected with detector instruments that measure whether the taggant is present in the correct concentration.
